Usage of Audiomack’s track-twizzling ‘Audiomod’ is growing

As we noted in our story on startup Hook’s funding round yesterday, 2026 is seeing a resurgence of interest (at least from DSPs and music rightsholders – fan demand remains unclear) in features and apps offering deeper, remix-style interactivity with music.

One streaming service that got in early to this latest wave was Audiomack, which launched its ‘Audiomod’ feature in February 2024. It enabled listeners to speed up and slow down songs as well as tweaking their pitch and adding reverb or delay.

Now the company says usage of the feature is growing. 30 million people have now used it for 260m “fan-made plays of tracks”. Audiomack also says that the usage is up 23% in the past year, with speed-based edits to the fore.

The release of these stats now is about bragging rights in the current competitive landscape.

“Some platforms like to talk about how they are building more interactive, lean-in features, but we’re already doing it,” said CMO David Ponte. “We built something easy people could use, and hundreds of millions of fresh versions prove that they do.”
